VW mods - Rugs
We can't take credit for this one, not that it's a very original idea anyway. When
we bought the van, the three rugs seen in the photo came with it. Whenever we stop
for camping, the rug in the middle becomes the door mat and is set outside the sliding
door. The other two rugs stay in the same place. They offer a bit of cushioning
and make cleanup a breeze. When dirt accumulates and starts driving us nuts, we
shake out the rugs. Then we grab a hand brush and brush the dirt from the perimeter
out the door.
Kind of a no-brainer, huh? Probably not even worth the electrons you wasted displaying
this page.
